Businesses, universities, hospitals and schools in Kansas City are looking for ways to become more efficient and have committed to benchmark energy use in their buildings. Kansas City Mayor Sly James has asked local building owners to track energy use and strive to achieve ENERGY STAR certification as part of the City Energy Project.
